My Content Writer Internship 2025 experience at Hungry Hub is quite different from those who came before me. That’s why today, I want to share my stories through this blog. I’ll take you through what it was like to be a Content Writer intern at Hungry Hub in 2025—what we learned, the challenges I faced, and the experiences I gained. If you’re ready, come along and read my story in this article!
Internship Review: Content Writer 2025
Short introduce myself

Hello! My name is Poom, and I’m the newest Content Writer intern at Hungry Hub.
Actually, you might not be able to call me a “junior” anymore since I graduated quite a while ago (but feel free to call me that anyway, haha). I earned my degree from the Faculty of Humanities, majoring in Language for Careers (International Program) at Srinakharinwirot University. Before this internship, I worked as a full-time employee at a company, but over time, I realized that the job wasn’t the right fit for me.
So, I decided to leave my previous job and set out on a journey to explore new opportunities. I was not only looking for a new job but also seeking a chance to switch career paths. Since then, I have been searching for something I truly wanted to do but had never pursued seriously—Content Writer.
With encouragement from my family and my own desire to gain hands-on experience in this field, I decided to take a step forward. Before fully committing to this career path, I wanted to explore it further and see if it was the right fit for me.
And in the end, I found myself stopping in front of a sign—the sign that read Hungry Hub.
The New Begining Hungry Hub

At first, when people hear the name Hungry Hub, they might not immediately know what it is. But if you’ve ever come across a Short Clip featuring Gentle Butcher or watched a review of Copper Beyond Buffet on YouTube, there’s a good chance you’ll have that “Aha!” moment. That’s right—Hungry Hub is a restaurant reservation app!
After that, I did some research to learn more about Hungry Hub and noticed that they frequently open Content Writer internship positions. Without hesitation, I prepared my application, attached my resume and portfolio, and sent them to [email protected]. Then, all I had to do was wait for a response.
I’d like to share a bit about the resume and portfolio I submitted to Hungry Hub. I had some writing experience, though not extensive. Previously, I wrote an online article for The101.world and also worked on a script for a well-known YouTuber.
Even though I had some writing samples to showcase, I couldn’t help but feel a little nervous. After all, I didn’t graduate from a related field—I had never studied communication arts or mass media. But I decided to give it a shot and sent in my application anyway.
For those who don’t have any experience in this field or don’t have a writing portfolio yet, I’d recommend submitting your resume along with a well-written explanation of why you’re interested in this internship. Just take that first step and send it to Hungry Hub’s email. If you’re still unsure, you can always email or call them first to ask for more details!
After waiting for about 1–2 weeks, I finally received a response via email from P’ Earth, the Content Marketing Manager at Hungry Hub.
For those who haven’t heard back within 1–2 weeks, I’d recommend reaching out to the Hungry Hub team to follow up. Sometimes, they might be extremely busy with work and may not have had the chance to check their emails right away.
After that, P’ Earth asked about my preferred start date and provided some initial guidelines to help me prepare for the internship. This included details on the dress code for the first day, necessary work equipment, and even a few tips on mentally preparing for the role.
And just like that, my new journey with Hungry Hub officially began.
First Week at Hungry Hub

On my first day of internship at Hungry Hub, I arrived right on time at 10 AM, dressed in my formal outfit. However, I hesitated to step into the office—I felt unsure of myself and a bit nervous.
Eventually, P’ Earth called me and reassured me that I could go inside and wait. So, I gathered my courage, walked in, and took a seat while waiting for him to arrive.
Although the first day felt a bit overwhelming, with so many new things to take in, P’ Earth patiently guided me through everything at a steady pace, making sure I settled in comfortably.
When lunchtime arrived, P’ Earth took me to a noodle shop called “Cham Kin Dai”, a go-to spot for many Hungry Hub team members. It’s a place they frequently visit, so I was excited to try it.
And let me tell you—the noodles were very delicious! Not only did they taste amazing, but they also looked visually appetizing, making the meal even more enjoyable.

After finishing lunch, P’ Earth invited me to visit a nearby toy store—just for fun and to unwind a bit. Even though we didn’t end up buying anything, simply walking around and soaking in the charming atmosphere of the shop was a nice experience.
It was my first impression of how friendly and easygoing my supervisor was. Plus, it introduced me to a small but fascinating world of toys that I hadn’t really explored before. It was such a cute and refreshing experience! If you’re someone who loves toys, you’d probably have plenty to chat about with him.
During the first week, P’ Earth took the time to explain the history of Hungry Hub and its various package offerings, giving me a solid understanding of the company. He also introduced me to content writing techniques, ensuring I had the necessary foundation before diving into real tasks.
After that, he started briefing me on assignments, guiding me through each task step by step. As time went on—about 2 to 3 weeks into the internship—he gradually gave me more independence, allowing me to develop ideas and create content on my own.
If I ever ran into any issues or had questions, I could always ask him without hesitation. There was no need to worry about being scolded—he was always open to discussions and willing to help.
Daily Routine, Responsibilities, and Challenges

Of course! As a Content Writer, the main responsibility is none other than writing articles for the Hungry Hub Blog.
Every week, I’m expected to brainstorm content ideas and produce at least 2–3 articles. While I have the freedom to write about any topic, it must always be relevant to Hungry Hub and receive approval from my supervisor before I start writing.
Now, let me walk you through the daily routine and responsibilities of a Content Writer, so you can get a better idea of what the job entails!
My daily routine as a Content Writer begins with researching trending topics and relevant keywords on the internet. I also explore Hungry Hub’s restaurant and hotel database to find interesting subjects for new articles. Once I have a solid idea, I start writing.
Now, if you’ve made it this far, you might think this job sounds pretty straightforward—but let me tell you, it’s not as easy as it seems! In fact, it can be quite challenging and demanding, but that’s also what makes it exciting.
One of the biggest challenges in this role is mastering SEO (Search Engine Optimization) to ensure that the articles we write appear on Google’s first page.
Before even starting to write, I need to carefully consider whether the article title and chosen keywords are SEO-friendly. A well-optimized article increases the chances of reaching a wider audience, making SEO a crucial part of the job.
At first, I had absolutely no experience with SEO, which made the learning curve quite steep. It took some time to familiarize myself with the process, but eventually, I started to get the hang of it.

Another challenge I faced was briefing the graphic design team. Even after completing an article with all the necessary content and images, my job wasn’t done just yet. I also had to coordinate with the graphic team to ensure they designed an eye-catching blog cover that complemented the article and made it visually appealing.
However, things didn’t always go smoothly. Sometimes, the graphic team’s design didn’t align with what I had envisioned. In those cases, I had to patiently rebrief the task, listen to their technical constraints, and find a solution together. This process required a bit of communication skills, a willingness to understand their technical challenges, and sometimes even sketching rough drafts to help convey my ideas more clearly. Ultimately, this made their job easier and ensured the final result matched the article’s tone and purpose.
In addition, I encountered several other challenges throughout my internship. One of the biggest struggles was running out of ideas. There were times when I felt stuck and unsure of what to write next, which disrupted my workflow. However, I found a way to overcome it—by stepping away from the screen for a moment, doing something else to clear my mind, and then coming back with a fresh perspective.
Just as I was getting into the rhythm, another challenge came my way. Hungry Hub announced its expansion into Singapore during the Red Table 2024 event, marking a major milestone for the company. With this expansion, there was a stronger focus on creating English content for both Singaporean and international audiences. As a result, I was assigned to help brainstorm and develop English content alongside my regular tasks.
Although researching in English and turning that information into a well-written article was quite challenging, I found ways to tackle it. I relied on perseverance, research skills, and various tools, including some AI technology, to help gather and organize information efficiently.
By carefully structuring the content and refining the details, I was ultimately able to craft a complete and well-written article that met the desired standards.
Work Environment and Company Culture
The work environment here is friendly and laid-back, creating a space where people can interact comfortably. As a result, the atmosphere is rarely tense or toxic. If anyone has a problem or something they’d like to discuss, they can talk openly without hesitation.
Even though some tasks can feel demanding, you’re never left to struggle alone. You can always reach out to your supervisor or colleagues for advice and support, making the workload much more manageable.
As for the working hours, they are officially set from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM for full-time employees and 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM for interns. However, in reality, the schedule is quite flexible. Arriving 10–15 minutes late isn’t a big issue, and no one will say anything about it.
That being said, punctuality is still important. Being on time ensures that you don’t miss briefings from senior team members or scheduled meetings for off-site work. Arriving late might cause delays or make it harder to keep up with the workflow. So, while there’s some flexibility, it’s always best to be on time!
Additionally, every two months, we are required to attend the Town Hall meeting, where the CEO gives a presentation. This meeting provides insights into the company’s direction and its current status, helping everyone stay aligned with the overall goals.
If you understand English, that’s a big plus—because the CEO delivers the entire presentation in English.
If you ever need to take sick leave or request time off, don’t forget to inform your internship supervisor in advance. This way, the team can adjust the schedule accordingly and plan work assignments more efficiently.
The company culture here is quite open and flexible, allowing for a good amount of freedom in how you work. If you enjoy watching movies or listening to music while working, you’re free to do so (just remember to wear headphones). No one will control or pressure you, as long as you complete your tasks as expected.
Here, lunchtime is flexible, with no fixed schedule. You can take your lunch break whenever it suits you, whether you prefer to go alone or invite colleagues to join you.
This free time also gives us a chance to explore new restaurants in the area, making lunchtime more exciting instead of sticking to the same places every day!
If you love birthday surprises, you’re free to light candles and cut cakes right in the office! Don’t be surprised if a sudden cheer startles you while working—it’s just a birthday celebration. And before you know it, you’ll be joining in on the fun too! Haha!

Some months, the company treats everyone to a team dinner at a restaurant. And when it comes to picking places to eat, you can trust Hungry Hub to choose only the best—every restaurant we visit is absolutely delicious, making it a perfect part of the Content Writer Internship 2025 experience!
The dining atmosphere is always fun and lively. Most recently, we had the chance to dine at NAMA Japanese and Seafood Buffet (Click!), where we indulged in an all-you-can-eat buffet of premium Japanese cuisine and fresh seafood—until we were completely stuffed!

Here’s a glimpse of the team dinner atmosphere at NAMA Japanese and Seafood Buffet!
The food at the restaurant looked absolutely delicious, and the best part was that you could enjoy it all you wanted with unlimited servings!
Off-site work

Many people might wonder, what is off-site work? Off-site work means visiting restaurants to take photos and videos for promotional purposes. As part of our Content Writer Internship 2025, We occasionally go on-site as part of our job, working outside the office.
As Content Writers, our main responsibility is to interview chefs or restaurant owners to gather information for restaurant review articles. And sometimes, we’re lucky enough to enjoy free special dishes prepared just for us by the restaurant—making the experience even more exciting!
Let me share a bit of my off-site work experience so you can get a clearer picture of what it’s like!

Let’s start with GYU EN SIAM YAKINIKU (Click!), the first restaurant that gave me the opportunity to experience unlimited A5 Wagyu beef—a feast that left me absolutely stuffed!
It was also the first restaurant I interviewed with that had a foreign owner, which made the experience even more interesting. Communicating and gathering information took quite some time, but in the end, I was able to craft a detailed restaurant review that captured the essence of the place.

Next up is Noomjad.bkk (Click!), the second restaurant that truly impressed me.
Although the menu here may seem simple, the way they present each dish makes it stand out. Their Tonteki, for example, features an incredibly tender and melt-in-your-mouth steak, perfectly living up to the restaurant’s name. Another highlight was the Fish and Chips, which had a crispy exterior and a soft, fluffy inside, unlike any I’ve had before.
The flavors left such a lasting impression that I can’t wait to come back for another visit!

If you’re looking for a charming café where you can relax with your beloved pet, Elder and Better (Click!) is the perfect spot to check out! This cozy café is a must-visit for animal lovers, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
During Christmas, the café transforms with festive decorations, making it even more magical and inviting. Unfortunately, I didn’t bring my dog along this time—but it would have made the experience even more special!

28 Ventotto (Click!) is the restaurant that left the biggest impression on me. What stood out the most was its charming Italian-style garden seating and the homemade dishes, carefully crafted to feel like a comforting family meal. Dining here felt like being back at home, enjoying a cozy dinner with loved ones, bringing back nostalgic memories of the past.
The restaurant’s interior design also embraces a retro 70s aesthetic, making it feel like you’ve stepped into a vintage café from that era. It’s truly a perfect spot for families to gather and enjoy a warm, homey atmosphere.
After writing a review for this place, I had the chance to return for another meal—this time with my family—which made the experience even more special.

Each off-site work has given me the chance to discover new restaurants and unique dining experiences that I had never known before. However, none have been as exclusive and intriguing as Kuma No Yakitori (Click!), a hidden omakase gem in Sukhumvit 47.
This restaurant isn’t just known for its exquisite yakitori (grilled skewers)—it’s also famous for its highly exclusive dining experience. To dine here, you need a reservation in advance and a special door code to gain entry, adding to the restaurant’s mysterious allure.
This visit was particularly memorable for me, as it marked my first-ever omakase experience, making it truly one-of-a-kind!

Ending with JUBANG 주방 (Click!), a premium Korean BBQ restaurant near MRT Bang Khun Non. This place stands out for its daily fresh ingredients and water-aging beef, ensuring top-quality flavors in every bite.
The restaurant’s cozy and relaxing atmosphere makes it a great spot to gather with friends and share good food while reminiscing about old times.
And that sums up my off-site work experience—a journey of discovering new restaurants and exciting dining adventures!

Additionally, I sometimes found myself unexpectedly assigned an extra role by P’ James, our photographer. On days when his usual assistant wasn’t around, I’d step in to hold the lighting or tidy up extension cords after the shoot.
Every now and then, P’ James would crack jokes or tease the interns, probably just to make the workday a little more fun. I get it—he was probably just looking for someone to chat with. Haha! ^_^
Wait a minute… why does this photo look so familiar? It’s like I’ve seen it on a movie poster before! (Or maybe it’s just my imagination… haha!)
What I Gained from My Experience at Hungry Hub

Since day one, I have learned various skills related to Content Writing, including content creation, interviewing, storytelling, SEO, WordPress, Google Trends, and Google Keyword Planner. I also explored how to apply AI tools to enhance work efficiency.
Moreover, this experience introduced me to the world of food and dining, allowing me to step into real restaurant settings and interact with the people working behind the scenes.

Most importantly, I had the chance to experiment with new ideas and create content in my own unique style. Every time my work was published on the website and gained a lot of readers, it felt truly rewarding. This was especially true for restaurant reviews. After my articles were posted, seeing people visit the restaurants I wrote about and leave positive reviews on Google made me feel genuinely happy. It was a small but meaningful success!

And that wraps up my Content Writer Internship 2025 experience at Hungry Hub!
Before I go, I’d love to share my work—both the Thai and English versions—published on the Hungry Hub Blog. I hope you’ll check them out and enjoy reading them. Don’t forget to give them a visit! 😊

A Few Words I’d Like to Share with Everyone
To Everyone at Hungry Hub
Thank you to all the Hungry Hub team members for being so kind, friendly, and supportive throughout my internship. You made me feel like a true part of the team, which is something truly rare to find.
A special thank you goes to P’ Earth, who patiently guided me through my work, always taking the time to teach and listen to my ideas. Even when I made mistakes, he provided valuable feedback that helped me improve. To me, he is one of the most respected and admirable supervisors I’ve ever had.
Lastly, I sincerely appreciate the opportunity to intern at Hungry Hub. I hope our paths cross again in the future, and I look forward to meeting everyone again in another opportunity!
To My Fellow Interns

First, to my very first intern colleague, Bom (Graphic Designer)—thank you for helping with graphics early on and making my work run smoothly. It’s a shame that your internship was coming to an end just as I was getting started, so we didn’t get much time to talk. But hey, don’t forget to drop me a message on IG every now and then! ^_^

Next, Peach (Graphic Designer)—although we didn’t sync up perfectly at first and had to adjust our working styles for a while (not to mention the multiple rounds of revisions!), I really appreciate how we managed to support each other and get everything done successfully. Hope you get more projects—wait, I mean, more exciting challenges to work on and continue learning new things! Haha! Anyone looking for a skilled graphic designer—Peach is your go-to!
Then there’s Nuam (Content Creator)—the intern with the boldest fashion sense and the one who went on more off-site shoots than the Content Writers! You brought fun energy to the team, were easy to talk to, and always made sure no one skipped lunch—even when I was so caught up in work that I lost track of time. Thanks for always inviting me and the others to grab lunch together!
To the new interns—Mee (Operations), Oat (Video Editor), Cream (Video Editor), Gift (Video Editor), and Tang (Photographer)—even though we didn’t get many chances to chat or have lunch together, I hope you all have a great time here at Hungry Hub and enjoy your internship!
And of course, to my Dutch intern friends, Jorhn (KOL Specialist) and Jesber (KOL Specialist)—I really enjoyed chatting with you guys and having our 1 PM Yong lunch routine. Lately, we’ve all been busy with work, so we haven’t talked as much, but we always find time to catch up when we can. Hopefully, we’ll get to meet again in the Netherlands someday!
Finally, I wish everyone success in finding the right career path, discovering what truly inspires you, and achieving all your goals. Even though we’ll all go our separate ways after this internship, don’t forget to drop a message or say hi once in a while. Let’s keep in touch! 😊
A Message to the Next Content Writer Intern
To the next Content Writer intern, no matter why you chose to intern here, I encourage you to keep an open mind and embrace new experiences. You might feel confused or uncertain at times, but take it one step at a time, keep learning, and give things a try. Who knows? You might just discover the right path for yourself along the way.
So, take a chance and give it your best shot!
And one last thing—please support P’ Earth with the workload after I’m gone. I’m counting on you!
What’s Next after this?
And so, the final day arrived—the day we had to part ways with Hungry Hub. Over the past few months, I’ve learned and experienced so much, including witnessing how the working trend and environment has evolved. But now, it’s time to move forward and start a new journey.
In the past, the path ahead seemed unclear, but now, it’s becoming clearer. Moving forward, I’ll be looking for a role as a Content Writer or something related. Although the road ahead is still long, I’m determined to continue pursuing what feels right for me.
I also hope that everyone else finds the right path for themselves as well.
If anyone would like to reach out regarding work or has questions about Hungry Hub, feel free to email me at [email protected].
Finally, it’s time for me to say goodbye to everyone. I look forward to meeting you again in the future!
